Essence – was an exhibition of prints and paintings by Diana Orinda Burns and Judy Jones at the Central Goldfields

The subject matter for the exhibition Essence is drawn from many sources, including personal and figurative iconography, urban and industrial themes as well as the natural environment. The paintings and prints have been chosen to show the way in which both artists reflect the heart and soul of place, the sum and substance of being and the essence and nature of their subjects.

Both artists reside in Central Victoria, and have extensive backgrounds in exhibiting their work. Diana has her artwork in the collections of galleries such as Australian National Gallery in Canberra, the Australian Print Council and the National Library.
