Art Residency at Studio Paradiso, Sandon Victoria Australia
Studio Paradiso aims to promote artistic dialogue with visiting and local artists.
Provide a space that promotes artists in a caring and supportive way.
Applications for 2020 from September onwards are now being accepted for residencies from two weeks to one month. Established, mid career or newly graduated artists will be considered.
Artists must be able to work independently on a project of their own choice.
Studio Paradiso is located in Central Victoria in an old Primitive Methodist Church, which was built in 1860. The studio is surrounded by sheep farms and faces the basalt Sandon Ridge.
The space has been refurbished to provide a large studio space with two etching presses and is suitable for both printmakers and artists.
Non toxic printmaking facilities exist for aluminium etching, monoprinting, collagraph and relief.
The garden provides intimate spaces for reflection and inspiration.
